DNA Paternity
Testing Services

DNA Paternity Testing is conducted for both legally binding and non-legally binding purposes to establish the true biological relationship between a father and a child. We inherit our DNA from our biological parents, half from our mother and half from our father.

This testing compares a child’s DNA pattern with that of the “alleged father” to confirm if there is a match. When performed accurately by an experienced AABB accredited laboratory, it serves as the most conclusive evidence of a biological relationship.

Testing Options

If you need paternity test results that can be used as a legal document, then a Legal DNA Paternity Test must be performed. Listed below are some common legal reasons that this test is used for:

01

Child Support

Under Florida law, paternity testing is a requirement if an individual is seeking child support and there is a dispute as to who may be the father of the child.

02

Birth Certificate

If a man is not listed on a child’s birth certificate, he has no legal right to make decisions for the child or enforce visitation. Therefore, the father does not have a right to participate in decisions about the child’s living arrangement, education, healthcare, religious upbringing, or extracurricular activities.

03

Court Order

If a man believes he is a child’s father and wishes to seek custody and/or visitation, he can file a paternity lawsuit and ask the judge for a DNA test. If the judge orders the test, the child’s mother is then required by the court to submit a sample of their child’s DNA to the court for testing.

04

Child Custody

Except for in collaborative paternity cases, fathers using other methods can face the final obstacle of obtaining custody and parenting time with the child. Until a further court order outlines custody and parenting time, the mother retains sole legal and physical custody, even after the father’s paternity is established

05

Tax Forms

Unless you are on the child’s birth certificate, the IRS most likely will require you to provide positive proof of paternity before allowing you to make any claims on your taxes. This is where a legal paternity test can help.

06

Adoption

Genetic testing for your adopted newborn allows you to find information about their biological parents, siblings, and other relatives. You can better understand their family tree and history while discovering health risks you may not have been aware of.

07

Immigration

Genetic testing is a useful tool for verifying a stated biological relationship when no other form of credible evidence is available in conjunction with an immigrant visa (IV) application. Commonly tested relationships that utilize DNA testing include paternity, maternity, full-siblingship, or half-siblingship.

08

Will/Estate

Losing a loved one is a difficult and testing time for most, without the added emotional distress of your biological relationship coming into question. When it comes to claims being made on the estate of the deceased, on some occasions a DNA test will be required. Due to the Wills, Trusts, and Claims section of the Inheritance Act 1975, DNA can be used to determine entitlement and resolve estate disputes.

09

Military Benefits

If you are seeking benefits for a child and there is a question about paternity, a DNA test may be necessary to establish legal paternity and eligibility for benefits. It’s recommended to consult with the relevant military authorities or legal professionals to determine the specific requirements and steps needed in your case.

10

Social Security Benefits

A child can receive up to half of the parent’s full retirement or disability benefits. If a child receives survivors benefits, they can get up to 75% of the deceased parent’s basic Social Security benefit.
An adult child qualifies for their deceased parent’s Social Security if the child is disabled due to a condition that began before age twenty-two.

LEGAL DNA PATERNITY TESTING
Court Admissible | $349 | In-Person COLLECTION

For Legal Paternity DNA Testing you'll need a scheduled appointment to collect samples and confirm identity. We'll take photographs of the tested parties and their government-issued ID (Driver's License, Military ID, or Passport) to ensure accurate identification.

Our medically trained technician will use a painless cheek swab to collect samples. These samples will be securely shipped via FedEx Priority Mail to our AABB accredited laboratory for processing. Results are reported electronically and usually ready in 2-3 business days. The original court-admissible report will be sent by US Mail, per your request.

Non-LEGAL DNA PATERNITY TESTING
Peace of Mind | $299 | In-Person COLLECTION

For Non-Legally Binding Paternity DNA Testing, there's no need for identification. You can have samples collected at our nearest collection facility using a painless cheek swab. These samples will be securely shipped via FedEx Priority Mail to our AABB accredited laboratory for processing. Results are reported electronically and are usually ready within 2-3 business days.

How To Get Started

Step 1: Call us at (407) 305-6604 or click the GET STARTED button below.

Step 2: Testing involves two parties: the alleged father and the child. A medically trained technician will gently collect samples using a cheek swab.

NOTE: If the alleged father isn't available, we've got you covered. We offer alternative solutions. Our testing includes options for Grandparentage (paternal grandparents), Avuncular (aunts/uncles), Siblingship (siblings), and male lineage. This ensures accurate results with comprehensive choices.

Step 4: Once samples are collected, we'll send them securely via FedEx Priority Mail to our AABB accredited laboratory for testing. While we can't guarantee turnaround time, results are usually available within 2-3 business days.

Step 5: You'll receive a text notification to check your inbox for test results. If you requested an original notarized raised seal copy of the results, it can be picked up at our main office or mailed to your provided address.

    At-Home Paternity Test KIt
Peace of Mind | $199 | Self Collection

If you're seeking a paternity test solely for your own peace of mind, and NOT for legal reasons, our At-Home DNA Paternity Test Kit is the most discreet and costeffective choice. Following the simple instructions provided with the test kit ensures results are as accurate, as results collected by a medically trained technician at our collection facility.

The only distinction is that if you ever need the results for legal purposes, at-home kit results will have limited admissibility. This is because the at-home testing process does not meet the legal standard of chain of custody.

The tested individuals collect their own DNA samples, which are then securely Priority Mailed to the testing laboratory. Ordering is simple—just call or order online, and we'll dispatch an At Home DNA Paternity Test Kit within one business day, along with step-by-step instructions.
